The Swift Group is looking for a Information Systems Security Engineer to join an exciting mission oriented program. The role is located on onsite in Herndon, VA and requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and validate security controls to support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation.
• Develop architecture documentation and Systems Security Plans (SSP) for Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) reviews.
• Develop and implement Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to address security vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with customer security organizations to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) for network and computing systems.
• Design and engineer Cybersecurity solutions for authentication, identity management, authorization, and access control.
• Work independently as a self-starter, building relationships with technical representatives across divisions.
• Brief security issues and solutions effectively to customers and stakeholders.
• Leverage over 5 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs.

Required Skills:

• 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in Cybersecurity engineering and integration services.
• Proficiency in security tools and processes such as Nessus, Rapid7, Splunk, WebInspect, Xacta, etc.
• Knowledge of Cloud security controls and implementation.
• Familiarity with STIG compliance and vulnerability management.
• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience with security development and operations (SecDevOps) methodologies.
• Ability to work with complex, shared network environments and multiple security enclaves.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and customer briefings.
• HS Diploma
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Skills:

• Experience with endpoint management software such as TANIUM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Familiarity with data analytics security tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing services like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or VMware.
• Experience with software development environments supporting cybersecurity tools.
